A female Chief Detective at the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, Denbei Kimura is notorious for her fearlessness. She will do anything to get justice served even if it means losing the love of her life. Denbei and her loyal subordinate Sadayuki Toda are assigned to solve the murder case committed by Kintaro Oyama, who killed his childhood girlfriend, Aiko Yamaguchi from the far South Island called Goto. Just before the murder, the pride of Goto Island, Daizen Lee, took his own life. Detective Tomekichi Kumada is transferred to Denbei’s investigation room. The two were lovers in the past. Kumada is desperately trying to protect the mystery of the murder. Behind the murder lies the secret of the small Islands, Goto of Nagasaki. Denbei is determined to make Kintaro Oyama a “First-Class Proud Criminal” whatever it takes…

16th century Japan, the warring states period, Sengoku Jidai, when all the powerful Lords battled each other, aiming to conquer and unify Japan. This is a story of Chacha (Lady Yodo). She was born into the sublime lineage of a samurai warrior family, Oda clan, right in the midst of the raging war of Sengoku-Jidai. Ever since her notoriously famed uncle, Nobunaga Oda suddenly and dramatically died as he was about to conquer all of Japan, Chacha’s fate showed no mercy to her. Yet, she aims to become the most powerful woman in Japan. This story captures the most dramatic time in Japanese history through the eyes of one tragic woman, Chacha, who’s blood never ceases to be hungry for power and desire as a ruler, a lover, and a mother.

In the 12th Century civil war era Japan, Shizuka-Gozen is the most popular entertainer in the capital of Japan, Kyoto, where the gorgeous court aristocratic culture is flourishing. Shizuka meets Yoshitsune of Minamoto, the younger brother of the supreme leader of Samurai. Yoshitsune, a dashing war-hero who is taking Kyoto by storm. Shizuka, Kyoto’s No.1 dancer of reputed beauty. They fall fatally in love. Winter of 1185, their love story follows a tragic path.
